I am a customer service advisor, my role includes speaking to customers, identifying their needs and helping whenever I can, handling cash, maintaining my product and risk knowledge and managing my counter and training.
I have learned how to manage my day from start to finish, and greatly built upon my communication skills
I have enjoyed meeting new people through the skeme and thourougly enjoyed spending time with my tutors.
I don't feel as valued as i was led to beleive i would during my initial training.
I feel that is well organised and structured, the only issue i have had is that i am now going to be meeting my third tutor in the near future.
I have received all the support that i have asked for, my tutors have been fantastic
I have received good support from my manager, i have been given time during working hours to complete some of my work.
We all feel that we should be paid more for the amount of work and responsibility we have on our shoulders.
There is a day to make a difference skeme which allows us to spend a day helping a charity of our choice.
No
We have to put up with a lot of issues in branch, some are internal and some are external. We work in a constant state of being understaffed at peak times causing stress to us all.
Be prepared to work harder than you have before,, you have to be ready to effectively be a manager because you are responsible for everything you do.
