My role on a day to day basis consists of me making sure I have my systems and resources set up correctly ready to sign into sales force to go on que ready to take calls from customers who are calling in. Another way I interact with customers is webchat, this is accessed through sales force as well as while taking calls.
I have learnt many new skills and also developed existing skills such as communication skills which I use on a day to day basis with interacting not only with customers, but also my colleagues too. I feel through my apprenticeship so far I have also developed as a person with sage as all colleagues are great to work with.
From the first minute I joined sage I enjoyed the coaching/ training sessions we done which was made entertaining and fun as well as learning a lot from the sessions in a relatively short space of time. The programme is great and there is a great feeing of everyone wanting everyone to achieve.
The programme is very well organised and this is great for us as apprentices/ employees. This is because we can view our schedule for the week ahead and see what days we are on calls and also what days we are on chat. we need to know this so we can call resources to change the skill set for that day.
It is great how much support we receive from our employer. We receive a lot of support to help us progress in our role and also gaining knowledge from coaches is extremely valuable as we can apply this to our performance when interacting with customers. If we have any issues we are able to reach out to anybody for support.
We have support from our training provider while working with them. they support us on the task we have been set and guide us to the correct resources so we are able to make the most out of our work. other than the days when our provider is not around I find it personally, quite hard to understand feedback and certain parts of the work which is sometimes a struggle.
I feel like writing down as theory work about our role and what we do in our role makes it easier to understand the role and also areas in which we need to make improvements in and as well as strong areas which we should always look to improve even further.
At Sage we have activities going on the majority of the time whether that's through Microsoft teams just with our colleagues or whether that's through social media that anybody can get involved in. We often have activities going on, on social media platforms such as TikTok to name one.
Yes
I would recommend Sage to a friend because first and foremost the people who work at sage are great to work for/with. It is an environment in which everybody wants constant success individually and collectively and also for each other, which is celebrated massively. The company is great and urges no matter what in any situation to do the right thing.
Give your all in each step of the application to give yourself the best possible chance to succeed. Being yourself was massive for me, this is something which can be a real positive for anybody. Being positive and applying yourself in the best way until the end even if you think you may of made a mistake or let the nerves get the better of you.
