On a day to day basis I process invoices, sort out the post and emails, I send out invoices and I also speak to customers and sort out the customers on my failsafe plan and ensure that they have paid their bills up to date and chase them if not
I have learnt a lot of new skills, from customer service skills, computer skills, excel I have learnt allt of skills on abs how to use new systems e.g. sage which we use to process our invoices, I have learnt how to create invoices and how an accounts department works
I enjoy my programme a lot, it has given me the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and work in a whole different environment to what I am used to, it has opened my eyes to the real world and taught me lots of new things
It is very well structured, all planned out well and help is always available when I need it, clear plan of what needs doing by when and what is left to do so I can get a head start on it, very pleased with it has helped me a lot
I receive allt of support from my employer, from giving me time to complete work if I need to and always asking if there’s anything that needs doing and how I’m getting on and always giving me positive feedback, supports me on whatever I need help with also
I receive loads of support from my training provider working towards my qualifications, help is always available when needed and all it takes is a quick email or a chat to go through and always has a help book available to me if I feel I need it, very happy
I feel it helps me very very well to perform better as it always gives me new skills and tips and explains how certain things work which help me progress a lot more in what I am doing, gives me the confidence to perform better aswell which I like a lot
There are not extra curricular activities to get involved with although as there are a lot of people at my work it is very easy to make friends and form there have social events and get togethers with people from work which is very nice to be able to do
Yes
Very nice people to work for, always feel supported, never feel scared to say what I am feeling and if I am unwell, alll the staff are lovely and so friendly. Lobely facilities including clean toilets and a clean staff room all the time and a big spacious office to work in
To come in with an open mind and not be scared and to be friendly and willing to work, do not be afraid to air your own opinion and also say exactly how you feel whether that is feeling poorly or towards others, always put yourself first at all times
