My role currently involves speaking with candidates who are on the lookout for new employmnet. It also involves communicating with different clients to speak in regards to their needs (what roles they need assistance with). We then do the recruitment process to help our clients fill their roles with suitable candidates who are also looking for new roles.
Yes. I have learnt many new skills whilst working for ATS Recruitment. I have also learnt many whilst completing my apprenticeship too. These can include, dealing with clients, dealing with candiates, being very attention to detail (this is when we need to find a candidate who has a very specialised skill set and experience as the clients can sometimes need this). In my apprenticeship I also developed my knowledge on Business Administration.
I enjoy working for ATS Recruitment as it can sometimes be seen as a challenge. This is because, you might get a new role from a client and it might be difficult to find the correct type of candidates. This can be because the role is so specialised so therefore, the candidates experince needs to be able to mirror these requirements. I also really enjoyed completing my apprenticeship too. This is because it gave me a broadened view on Business Administration. It enabled me to learn more and grow my knowledge.
ATS Recruitment is structured very well. We have a team who are able to all work together and assist one and other. This is a very important thing to have in a working environment as it builds strong morale and no one is left struggling. My apprenticeship was also structured very well too. Each month, we had a one to one meeting where we would go over all of my completed work and look over what needed completing for the next call. When it came towards the end of my apprenticeship, my tutor was very helpful. She was there whenever I needed any assistance with anything and would give me tips and pointers. We also did mock exams which helped me prepare for my End Point Assesments.
Working at ATS Recruitment, the director is always there for you if you ever need support. This can range from having problems with clients in which he will help you go the best way around it. Having problems trying to find the right type of candidates in which he will spend time focusing on getting a good search together and sending it over so you can find the correct type of candidates. My director was also very helpful throughout the whole of my apprenticeship. He always asked how I was getting on and whether I needed any help with any of my work. He also provided things such as Witness Statements in which I used as evidence on my mapping and tracking form. My tutor was also very helpful through the whole of my apprenticeship too. She was always there if I ever needed any help or advice on my work. She gave me tips and pointers on what would be the best way to do things. It was a great help especially whilst we were carrying out my apprenticeship throughout the pandemic. I was put on furlough for 2 months but throughout this, both my director and tutor still helped my through my apprenticeship in this time.
Whilst I was carrying out my apprenticeship and working towards my qualifications, my tutor was always there to give support throughout the whole course of it. My tutor always gave me tips and pointers on what was the best way to complete some of my work. She also always sent over PowerPoints each call which were there to help me with completing my next task.
I feel as though my qualification has helped me develop within ATS Recruitment. This is because, I was able to suggest new ideas and improvements to the way we carried some things out. These suggestions always came from things I had learnt throughout my apprenticeship. It has also enabled me to grow within the business and get a promotion.
At the moment, due to Covid still being around, things such as networking events and social activities have been put on hold. However, before the pandemic, whilst we worked, we did carry out client visits. This is when we would go to our clients offices to meet in person with the clients. This was to speak with them about how they are getting on, if they need any further assistance with any recruitment and so on. This is all being conducted over email at the moment though due to covid.
Yes
I would definitely recommed ATS Recruitment to a friend whether this be to work for them or with them. This is because I think ATS Recruitment are a very approachable company. This is because there is a good team morale. With this, it is a huge advantage as it enables the whole team to work together and get the job done. I would also recommed my training provider to a friend if they were ever on the lookout to complete any sort of training course. This is because they helped me get great results and they were also there to support me through the way.
I would always say that my training provider were great people to work with to complete my training and recieving my qualifications. This is because they were there to support you the whole way through the course and helps you recieve great results at the end. I would say the advice I would give to others applying to do training courses with this training provider would be do it.
