My current role is Banking Consultant. On a day-to-day basis this involves seeing customers in appointment based or on spec interviews. it involves servicing, opening and enquiries on accounts for new and exisitng customers.
New skills learnt: Through the apprenticeship scheme I have learnt some new skills in relation to equality and diversity and how this supports colleagues in the work force. This has helped me gain a better understanding of the work force's diversity as a whole thus enabling me to help other colleagues understand their rights and responsibilities.
I thoroughly enjoy the programme. Very glad I applied for it!
Valued in the sense that there are lots of opportunities out there. However in my current role I feel stagnant, there has been no real effort to move colleagues on through the branch network.
Very well organised and structured.
The apprenticeship team have been amazing, both the trainer assessors and the Learn Direct telephony. The HBOS team have been great, keeping in contact with me throughout the stages.
From the HBOS emerging talent the support has been great.
There have been no extra costs.
