  • My current role is Banking Consultant. On a day-to-day basis this involves seeing customers in appointment based or on spec interviews. it involves servicing, opening and enquiries on accounts for new and exisitng customers.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • New skills learnt: Through the apprenticeship scheme I have learnt some new skills in relation to equality and diversity and how this supports colleagues in the work force. This has helped me gain a better understanding of the work force's diversity as a whole thus enabling me to help other colleagues understand their rights and responsibilities.

  • I thoroughly enjoy the programme. Very glad I applied for it!

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Lloyds Banking Group?
  • Valued in the sense that there are lots of opportunities out there. However in my current role I feel stagnant, there has been no real effort to move colleagues on through the branch network.

  • Very well organised and structured.

  • The apprenticeship team have been amazing, both the trainer assessors and the Learn Direct telephony. The HBOS team have been great, keeping in contact with me throughout the stages.

  • From the HBOS emerging talent the support has been great.
