I lead the Digital portfolio of change projects for the AA.
Both - the MBA has helped enhance existing knowledge but also furnished me with lots of new tools, techniques and skills to increase the value I deliver to the business, in my role.
Balancing study with a busy day job is a challenge, but the programme is very enjoyable. I've also been incredibly well supported by my organisation.
The course was intended to be face to face, however the transition to remote learning (due to Covid-19) has been seamless. Very well organised and structured, under very difficult circumstances.
Lots! For example; I have to take time out each month to attend lectures and this is always supported. It makes a real difference to studies when supported in this way.
c. 3 days of lectures per month, plus access to incredible amounts of online resources (books, journals, financial information etc.), lecturers and peer to peer support. Also a number of key note events with guest speakers.
It will help enrich my knowledge, give me new skills that I can apply to my role, and roles I may do in the future.
Occasional professional networking events. Social events (under normal circumstances!)
Yes
Incredible heritage, values and approach to doing the 'right thing' by our customers, people and partners. It's a unique business and one I'm proud to be part of.
Go for it.... you won't be disappointed!
