Supporting the team to implement the operational risk framework and supporting the first line of defense e.g. answering op risk questions that they have.
Yes, I have been able to learn a variety of new and develop existing skills these include; communication, collaboration, problem solving and data analysis.
I enjoy the progam mostly, however there is one module on my course that I do not enjoy.
The program is very well structure and there is a very clear plan to follow. I feel that the first module was slightly too long though.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, this includes weekly 121s with my line manager and allowing me time to study/revise.
I receive adequate support from my training provider, however at this stage of the course I do not require a lot of support therefore this could change.
So far the content has not been massively helpful but is definitely relevant to understand wider topics within the financial services industry, I feel as we move forward it will become more helpful.
Yes, there are multiple networks that you can joy, we are encouraged to volunteer and I have played 5 aside football multiple different times with different people.
Yes
UBS has a great culture to work in and I have felt very welcomed and happy since I have joined. There is lots of opportunities to learn and I feel supported my colleagues. Overall, it is a good place to work.
I would advise to do some background research into the company before applying to ensure that the role that you are applying for suits your skills and your needs.
