As my role as Banking Consultant I meet the needs of customers on a daily basis. This involves sitting down with customers and looking at their financial situation, to then assess ways in which we could help to save or make them money. We are also there to provide support for customers who may be in financial difficulty.
I have learnt to be more confident in my role and to develop my current skills further. I am more aware of the regulations and requirements of my role as this is extrememly important in the financial sector.
I enjoy the programme which I am on as I feel that it has helped to gain my confidence within my job role.
I would say that I feel a vauled member of the team in which I work. In general I feel quite valued by Lloyds Banking Group.
At the first the programme was a bit all over the place due to one trainer going on maternity leave and there being a gap between finding a new trainer. However with the new trainer in place I feel that it is all running smoothly and I am really pleased with the structure of the programme and the pace at which I am working.
I recieve regular 1-1 meetings on a monthly basis and my trainer is always on hand if I need her via email or phone.
My manager is very supportive of my training programme and offers support whenever I need it.
Ideally I would like to be on a higher wage as I am looking to move out in the near future. I can live on my wage whilst still living at home but couldn't move out on it.
Not too sure to be honest.
Yes
I feel that it is a secure job and that there is room to develop yourself and progress your career.
I would save to take every opportunity that is offered to you and to work hard. It is definitely worth it in the end.
