Each day is different in Audit. There are various tasks such as scoping, planning, execution, Forming our opinion on financial statements and reporting. As a member of the audit team you get exposure to all these areas and your clients environment which helps you grow your understanding.
Yes. BDO has helped me develop various skills such as communication, team work & self management. Along with this I have been working towards the ACA qualification which has helped improve my technical skills
I enjoy the studying side of things as it helps me develop my technical knowledge. Although at times it can get tough trying to manage work and study especially due to a small number of study days.
I feel the programme is well structured however I have had issues in the past with regards to booking exams but this was mainly due to covid.
I feel we receive an okay level of support speaking generally. It can get tough if you are having to manage exams and tight deadlines at work.
BPP provide us with study materials and they help us all the way to our exams to enable us to get the best result possible.
My exams assist me in my day to day work. There are specific exam papers like Audit and Assurance and Financial Accounting which apply to my day to day job. Studying these helps me perform better.
There were quite a few things pre covid like football events, book club etc...
