Childcare Review

I worked in childcare and on a daily basis I greeted and did parent handovers Prospered breakfast dinner and tea regular hand washing interacted an teacher the children and supported them to devolp further to Achieve there targets. I changed nappy’s and changed dirty clothes I filled out regular paper work risk assessment ect.

I learnt lots of new things about legislations and policy’s and procedures from how to do nappy’s how to look after children correctly how to fill out paper work such as risk assessments garden checks accident forms injury on arrival forms I learnt how to have more confidence in my self

I enjoyed my program because it taught me lots of new skills it helped me devolp my skills further from my level 2 and become a better practitioner.

It was well organised and came regularly to check up and do meetings with work

If I said I was having trouble with work they would help me and arrange meetings with my tutor

When I was working towards my qualification covid 19 happened and I got made redundant and I thought I wouldn’t be able to carry on with my apprenticeship but paragon skills rang me and said because of the situation they would let me carry on toward any level 3

Because it’s learnt me a lot more and build more confidence in the job role the training program would make sure I was confident in what I was doing and would support if I need help and would explain it to me in different ways to help me understand.
