It's my responsibility to provide care to young children under the age of 4. This includes encouraging them and supporting their overall development, whether that be physical, verbal, emotional or social. I must ensure that the quality of care these children receive is to a good standard.
I have developed my team work and independent skills and developed my understanding of the childcare EYFS Framework which impacts on my daily work. I've learned how to support children with their development and how to provide healthy, safe care abiding to the rules and regulations.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the course I've undertaken with Realise and the work placement I've been, and now currently, work at. It has improved my confidence, understanding and abilities to do my job well.
It was structured perfectly; balanced between research and hands on experience. If, at any point, I struggled, my designated tutor would be there to support me. Assignments were done over a substantial amount of time so there was never any time pressures.
My employer was always available to support me, offering me advice to constantly improve my skills and approach to situations at the workplace.
My tutor was only a phone call or message away if I ever needed her. Although, I never needed any major support as, whenever I was given assignments, the information my tutor provided for me was sufficient enough, though it was always nice to know I could rely on her.
Through the extensive research I was given to do, I have a more in depth knowledge of the job I've chosen to undertake. My tutor would provide me with large amounts of resources and website links to ensure I had access to all the reliable information.
None that I know of.
Yes
As I could never regret choosing to do my apprenticeship with them. They're reliable, resourceful and supportive of their apprentices' needs. I plan to go on to do my Level 3 with them in the near future.
Just rely on the team to choose what's best for you. They'll support you in any way they can. You need only ask for help and they'll provide it; they'll help you to make sure you finish your apprenticeship on time.
