I work primarily in innovation looking at solutions for existing contracts. Almost like a consultant for existing contracts who are lacking or require innovation. Day to Day can be anything from site visits, admin duties, networking and supplier meetings.
I have developed Confidence, business formalities, excel skills alongside a growing knowledge of the logistics industry.
2020 was a difficult year to start an apprenticeship but CEVA have helped facilitate me in the best way they could. Now I have a more structured role, I massively enjoy my job and the university learnings that I can apply to the workplace.
As we are the first intake of degree apprenticeships, I think it could do with a more structured program so every apprentice gets the best possible experience they can. These are teething problems that can be ironed out.
My manager gives me freedom and support where needed alongside a mentor would supports also.
If I needed support, I know I could go to my university lecturers and they would help me as much as I needed.
Massively, I feel like the course is very well structured to allow for work and study to develop our skills and knowledge.
Yes mainly sports events but we haven't had the chance to participate yet due to covid 2020.
Yes
I think they are a good employer who have offered me a lot of support and I feel looked after in the business.
Take as many opportunities as possible and take the time to really engage with industry professionals who are happy to support in the degree program.
