Assisting class teacher and supporting children. Changing books and leading small groups to boost or stretch their knowledge.
Yes , getting/ got a greater understanding of what really consists of being a teaching assistant. I also learnt about why it is important we have so many rules, regulations and legislation within the workplace
I did feel stressed with it. Some questions where straight forward but where worded with so much extended vocab that it made it harder to understand. I also didn’t enjoy having to do phone calls and working whilst on halfterms as thats is my holiday time.
It is ok if you have a good tutor. Once swapping tutors I felt it was better organised and could see a clear path and of what we where doing
My head teacher very little however if I email her and say I need this document she would email it back straight away or answer any questions. My EYFS team was super, answering any questions I had on how to relate it back and just over all boosting my confidence
A fair bit . If I ever had questions or was unsure I could text her and get it within the same day
For me personally it makes me u sweat and why we perform certain s steps.

Overall they are supportive and have a good programme. The workload isn’t too much but sometimes can be when working out of your holiday time but I would recommend
People like me who are working within education get their holiday in halfterms so they may not want to work on halfterms as that is their holiday. I would also love explain every question in the most simple form
