On a day to day basis, I work with SQL and Excel to ensure data integrity. I also take part in activities in the wider business unit.
I have developed many soft skills over the course of the program, including talking to customers and giving impactful presentations.
The program is very enjoyable with a lot of scope for further training.
The program is very well structured but could do with more check ins from the student team to make sure we are in roles we want to be in.
CGI are always very supportive and help is offered if needed.
The training provider has members of staff that are available for contact at any time.
I have learnt some valuable things at University that can be applied to my role, but it is usually information I could have accessed anyway.
The SSC runs some great events in non-Covid times.

CGI is a great company to work for with plenty of opportunity to grow your career. Apprenticeships at the company are a great way to get your foot in the door in the IT industry.
Research the company thoroughly before going to interview and work out why you want to work at CGI specifically.
