I really enjoy my programme, I think the team who run it are fantastic at ensuring grad develop and enjoy their placements. It has definitely beaten my expectation and I get given some amazing opportunities through my scheme
Induction was fantastic as we were given 2 weeks induction to meet other grad and learn about the company and programme. We get continuous support throughout the programme and also get assigned a senior sponsor/mentor
The early careers HR team provide fantastic support but also in the business, the grad scheme is well recognised and all my mangers so far have been very supportive
I have an assigned coach who helps with providing when work is due and also what needs to be completed. However much of this qualification is self-learning and then using the learning in work
I have defiantly been able to use lots of what I have learnt through the qualification in my role and often share with my team the things I have been learning
As grads we have a network where before covid we would meet frequently, there is other activities which go on but have been halted due to covid
Yes
I think the scheme is fantastic, I have learnt so much and been totally pushed outside my comfort zone but always felt well supported by those in my team
The interview and assessment process is as much about figuring out if M&S is a place you would like to work as much as it is for them to see you. Get involved as much as possible during the assessment centres and onboarding/induction as I have made friends for life through this
