I believe I have focused on my own development since doing my apprenticeship. I am more aware of how much time I invest in myself that isn't always focused on my day to day role but taking time to focus on personal skills too. Whilst also at the same time, looking at how I can stretch myself through my role.
I'm glad I got the opportunity to do the programme and work with others who were also on the apprenticeship. The company allowed me time to focus on my 20% off the job training which really made a difference to my learning. I found the assignments quite different - some were challenging and some linked really well to the job I was doing so you could use these examples
I found the programme to be very structured. My coach from Arch always was clear on next steps in our support meeting and I felt very well supported. The regular classroom sessions helped with assignments and the tutors were always willing to help. The business also helped when it came to give me on the job training.
I felt very well supported by my employer - my manager was always willing to support whether that be with supporting me with training or giving me time to complete my assignments. I also had a mentor who continued to challenge my thinking and push my personal development. Whenever I had issues, I always felt like I had a great support next week around me to help.
I was given a coach to support throughout my programme which provided consistency. There was also always a tutor dedicated to each assignment to support with any questions.
