My day to day basis involves interacting with patients and staff members. Decontamination, patient safety, assisting chair side and assisting the dentist and other staff members.
I have developed my skills such as working under pressure, team working and having to adapt working with different people.
I love every aspect of the programme. I enjoy the learning and the work I have to do but I love the practical side and interacting with patients and having to use my knowledge in the surgery.
Very well organised. The structure is well done and there is plenty of context and resources to help me learn.
100%. My employer understands I'm learning and ensures that I have plenty of time in surgery and at home to do my course and learning.
I receive a zoom sessions once a month with my dental nursing tutor who is very thorough and informative.
It has helped enhance my knowledge and inform me more about my role and develop my skills.
