I work as a trainee dental nurse, this could include assisting a dentist or having to work as a receptionist, I also have to us infection control in my line of work and see patients and interact with them face to face everyday. I have the responsibility of protecting and caring for patients etc.
i have learnt how to work as a dental nurse from having no knowledge of it at all.
I really enjoy learning to become a dental nurse as it is something I am interested in and wanted to do.
my programme is very well organised, i have a tutor assigned to me who i can contact whenever i need to and I also have other people that i can contact if i cant get in touch with my tutor
i receive a good amount of support from my employer as i get study days to revise for my course and the training needed.
i receive alot of support from my training provider as i have a tutor assigned to me who i can get intouch with whenever i need and also have regular zoom sessions with her.
my qualification allows me to perform better as through the course i have learnt many new things i wouldnt have known just working in the practice for example nerve in the mouth.
no, however we do have a get togethr on christmas
Yes
dental partners overall is a good company to work for as there are benefits of doing extra courses etc.
i would advice them to properly check the practice they have applied for even though dental partners is a whole company with many different dental practice, each practice is still different.
