Practice manager, looking after the staff, making sure appointments are booked correctly, looking after policies and audits, ordering stock, maintenance of equipment, complaints handling, making sure everyone follows infection control and safeguarding.
Refreshed my knowledge of the policy side of the job, as not worked with them for about 10 years, reading up on the laws of dentistry.
I enjoy renewing and refreshing my knowledge of policies and updating them, staff management side, I am involved in appraisals now
Good organisation, zoom calls always booked in for the next session
Very hard to get alot of support as they are busy dentists, and I do struggle with getting the work done at work
On the zoom calls is when I get support for my training
By doing the coursework it makes you research the questions so refreshes your knowledge
