My role within the company consists of accepting and unloading deliveries of stock as well the day to day running of the store, as well as cashing up the tills at the end of the day and also now training others.
I have learned how to communicate with other people in a polite way and also have learned how to del with situations in a professional and timely matter that would help both myself and the company.
The programme is a very good tool and stepping stone for me to hopefully progress further with my iceland career. It has also helped me by giving me a more in depth look at what I do day to day.
The programme is set out well around my job within Iceland as I have a good length of time to both still have a personal and professional life as well as keeping my brain ticking with new experiences and understandings.
I have been helped through my employer alot with them understanding that I need to tackle new skills they are giving me a free rain of the things I need to do to progress with the company and tbe programme.
I receive a lot of support from the trainer as she give me the best possible help I need and also the best possible modules to complete at the right time to further my knowledge and know how of the business.
I feel as if I am bettering myself with my role in the company as I am taking the modules I have learned and using them to my advantage. With that people have noticed a change in me both professionally and personally.

The company is a great place to work as it have a good network of people working in the many stores it has. It also has a good progression ladder which is easy enough to climb if you have the right mind set and goal in mind.
Keep your head down and be the best you could possibly be without making mistakes.
