  • Senior Management responsible for 4 Teams of 1st Line and 2nd Line support. responsible for resource management, SLA's, project delivery, organisational and departmental guidelines, change management, stock and digital delivery and supplies. Interacting with internal and external stakeholders daily.

  • ITIL Service Management Foundation, APM project Management, Prince2, I have learnt Management skills and technical knowledge as well as resourcing and interpersonal skills, communicating with various levels of stakeholders as well as various technical knowhow

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I Love my work, even though it is busy and demanding. The ICT department is great and my colleagues are supportive.

  • Extremely. UCLAN has everything on a digital platform for you to find and there is a lot of support and advice available.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I am well supported from my employer, with so much help from colleagues and guidance from others.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • All my Tutors/Lecturers are extremely supportive and I couldn't do this without them. They are always there when needed, (even late at night and weekends) and so their guidance and advice is amazing. I am genuinely enjoying it.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It is providing me with more knowledge and confidence. I am learning more about my organisation due to the assignments I am undertaking at the moment and find that I am developing and putting things into practice without sometimes realising it.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is a sports and social club with lots of clubs and activities such as squash, netball, walking, training etc.

  • Yes

  • It is a supportive and fully inclusive organisation to work for with lots of opportunities


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lancashire Constabulary?
  • Make sure you follow the Star format when applying, this is important. Sell yourself and give examples of work undertaken with clear outcomes and lessons learnt.
