Apprentice joiner on void properties. Day to day work involves fitting doors, kitchens and repairing all joinery work.
Yes, learnt how to fit doors/kitchens. Repair joists and timber partitions.
Since starting, its all been go. i have learnt so much in such a short space of time its been fantastic.
Its been very good, more so during such strange times during an exceptional period such as a national emergency.
Great support, they listen and assist whenever required. Regular teams meetings and yearly appraisals.
Always at hand if ever required, both my assessor and tutor have been brilliant and very supportive and have helped me alkng my journey.
They have taught me great skills in college, these skills have worked very well within my trade.
Have a home social media page at work where we can contribute and look for answers. Obviously diring covid restrictions mlthe majority of networking events has been restricted.

Brilliant supporting staff from tutors to managers to even the lovely canteen staff. College is well organised and has been a pleasure to attend.
Give it a go, the college has been the best thing I have done since leaving school many years ago.
