As a developer, I build proof of concepts for cloud applications alongside my team. This involves understanding application requirements, researching and writing code to bring applications from concept to reality.
The learning opportunities on the apprenticeship are endless. I've completed a lot of professional training and this training has helped advance my performance capabilities in my role.
The program certainly meets my expectations. Personally, I've found the work aspect of the apprenticeship more exciting than the university aspect.
The program is generally well organised, both university and work.
There's a lot of support offered from the employer and partnering university. From Mentors to Career Counselors, and also a lot of opportunities for gaining peer support from school mates and colleagues.
Accenture very much supports the professional growth of its employees, so time off is offered when you're undertaking a professional qualification, and often times, they're also willing to fund your professional training.
The university aspect of the apprenticeship has definitely helped me perform better in my role and vice versa.
There's a great deal of extra-curricular activities to get involved in with Accenture (think cultural clubs, sports clubs, religious clubs etc.).
Yes
The company is overall a great place to work. The company culture is admirable, great people are hired here, the opportunities to learn and grow are endless, and there's a great sense of a global community here that allows you to meet a diverse range of people from all over the world.
Accenture wants you to bring your whole self to work, so don't be afraid to approach your application/recruitment process with a big dose of integrity.
