Providing compassionate, inclusive leadership and management to promote high standards of clinical care, patient safety and experience; prevention and control of infections; and monitoring cleaning of the environment.
Absolutely! I have developed knowledge in operations management and marketing, identifying models to support with accurate analysis which I have used in business cases put forward. I have developed a more rounded leadership style, reflecting on my emotions and actions and adapting and developing to improve excellent written, verbal and non verbal communication
I have definitely enjoyed the programme, I have however found it extremely challenging during the Covid-19 pandemic to balance 50% increase in clinic work, whilst completing MBA assignments and caring for my family. This has caused me to have elevated levels of stress.
Generally well structures however it is a challenge when one module overlaps with another.
Good support from my mentor, some difficulties in getting time to complete 20% off the job training however I have managed to achieve this through work based projects.
Great support, 1:1 with study skills tutors and tutors from the different modules have been a fantastic support. The regular webinars post University study days provide the time to be able to discuss any questions you may have. Feedback following assignments could have been a bit more detailed to support with improved learning,
It helps me to think about the stakeholders involved in the service and wider organisational context. it has support with developed of more rounded leadership skills. It has supported academic knowledge in models and frameworks which have supported accurate analysis for improvement projects
