Accounts preparation and reviewing. Tagging and reviewing. CT computations.
Yes. Developed organisation skills. New skills - communication.
Enjoyed studying alongside work, as I could put what I had learnt into practice.
Throughout my programme, it seemed very organised. I knew what I was doing each year, could go to our exam training manager if we had issues. But lately for the new starters, they seem more confused going into ACA.
I felt like I received a good amount of support with my training. However, I was allocated a mentor, but this didn't seem to go as expected. I didn't really feel mentored.
Kaplan (AAT) and BPP (ACA) were amazing at supporting. I always felt comfortable with asking questions and they were there to help whenever needed
It has taught me the knowledge I need to perform in my job.
There used to be the odd social activity, but this has stopped due to covid
Yes
It has helped me grow as a person and I have really developed here. The support could be better (both exam and mental health support). But overall, it was a positive experience
Just be yourself! Personality is a big thing in the interviews.
