Devops and AWS engineering. I help other colleagues by creating studios for them, help them resolve any issues they may have. As well as remediating all of the instances and granting different access controls. Undergoing different certificate training at the same time.
I have completed two certifications and gained skills in different cloud resources. i have gained knowledge on AWS, GitLab and orchestrator. Along with developing my communication and teamwork skills due to working in a team and having to help other colleagues.
I am enjoying what i am doing, gaining new skills and working with a great team of apprentices and employees which are making it more enjoyable.
It is well structured due to this programme being ran every year. There is always someone to speak to if you have any questions or query's.
I recieve alot of support from both my employer and my team. Along with being assigned a buddy and a career counselor to give me extra support. There is always someone to answer any questions and give me support where it is needed
If i need help with any qualifications there is always someone i can message or ring who will give me as much support as i need. In the form of examples of other peoples work, practice exams, documents and websites.
Due to doing a technical qualification all of the work i do in it does relate to my role. However i don't feel like it really helps me perform any better in my role it just helps my technical knowledge improve
