Speaking to customers everyday and making amendments on the motor insurance policy
I’ve learnt how to professionally answer phone calls and do with situations that I was not able to at the beginning of the job. I have also learnt a lot of technical skills using our systems such as UIS
I thoroughly enjoy my job and I wouldn’t change it for anything else I love all the people who work there I feel like one big family
If I’m honest I find that my job is structured professionally however there is a lot of technical issues at the start of training most of our laptops were down and we weren’t working until the second week in so we massively delayed or no starting time which made us fall behind
I have to say this is the only job they have actually felt like I get the most support from if I don’t understand something my team made all my teammates are always there to help me out when previously I didn’t feel like I could turn to my teammates in my previous job.
My training provider has been very supportive towards working form of qualifications however I didn’t know that there was something called badminton as when I first joined DLG this threw me off guard as there is now an exam at the end of the month and I don’t feel like I’m getting a lot of support because I don’t understand the exam at all I don’t understand the contents and I don’t understand why we doing it because I didn’t know that we had to do an exam
I feel like my qualification is going very well there’s still room to improve I get a lot of support from my team Raider and I want to once we talk about how I can do better and then I go away and hopefully I do do better I do sometimes struggle however my team leader does know this
No
Yes
Because everyone is very friendly like I said we are one big family everyone helped each other out as it is an amazing job and what we do it’s very mentally draining however it pushes me through each day and it Makes me feel happy that I am helping others when they call to do a amendment
I would say to be prepared moody customers to make sure your head game is strong and don’t ever give up when you have a bad day just keep on going because not every day is a bad day you have some good days and you have some bad days but from what I’ve experience you’ve got to think you’re the professional one the customer is the one who wants something done so they need to listen to you because you know what you’re doing.
