Chief Engineer Fibre Jointer role is to build node and splice exposed fibres together to build the network
Yes I have learned how the fibre network is built and various way to problem solve
Reasonably well. I love my job however the portfolio side of the apprenticeship is not suitable for my job role
It’s ok however as mentioned above I experience issues with my portfolio
My employer has been fantastic, but I’m not getting much help from my apprenticeship leader.
Not enough, need more support in structuring my portfolio to suit job role
It doesn’t, the qualification feels pointless as all my learning has been on the job rather than through my apprenticeship
None so far due to covid
Yes
It’s a good job, only the apprenticeship side for my role let’s it down
Good luck and be prepared for anything
