I support the academic team in the general administration and operations at NCUK; in the operations of their educational centres around the world. I provide administration assistance in the running of centres, webinars, content on the NCUK platforms and other services as needed.
I have learnt so much since starting at NCUK, it is very welcoming and has flexible working hours. This is my first office administration role. I have learnt a lot of foundational admin skills and I hope to learn more professional skills as time goes on.
This is a fantastic programme, I am really enjoying it. The course is well laid out and fits around work. My employer is very supportive of my learning and taking study leave for appropriate learning time and completing the assignments.
I feel it is well structured. It is a different learning experience to the other HE courses I have done, but it covers what I need and fits around work well. My teachers and managers are supportive.
NCUK are very supportive and my manager actively encourages me to book time off as study leave when I need it. My manager is actively looking how I can gain experience in the different departments of NCUK to further my understanding of the business and learning on the degree.
I feel it hasn't been as much as in other HE courses I have done, but this may be reflective of how learning is remote atm and how university lecturers are different to teachers at a college. My personal tutor/ trainer is very friendly.
I feel it gives useful insight into the business and will improve my performance and confidence. My managers feel that it would eventually be very useful . They have signed another member of staff to a degree apprenticeship in another course.
Under normal circumstances there are, but this isn't possible due to wfh requirements and travel restrictions due to the pandemic. My team feel very friendly.
Yes
Its a great working environment. I feel supported in learning and the fact it is work from home is fantastic as I have two small children who are at school, so the working hours fit really well, very flexible. Its an excellent opportunity.
Be honest and have a good sense of humour.
