My job consists of trading ranges that are currently selling and planning future ranges. The apprenticeship is a data fellowship programme where we learn cutting edge data skills which can be embedded into your job role.
I have learnt Python and Sql programming languages. From there, I have learnt all sorts of things, for example clustering, data analysis, data visualisations etc.
I really enjoy the programme. It is great to be able to be able to take part in an apprenticeship programme to learn additional skills alongside my actual job role.
Very well structured - the programme takes up 8 hours of my working week (one day) whilst the remainder of the week is spent on my actual job.
I receive a lot of support - I am given the allotted 8 hours per week to work on the apprenticeship.
They are always on hand to help. You are given a mentor who helps to assist with any questions and to give feedback on the work that has been submitted so far.
The apprenticeship helps me to look at my work in a different way. I can conduct better analysis on how products sell which in turn helps me to make more informed decisions.
Yes! You can even create your own (provided enough people also have the same desire for this new activity) if you feel that something is missing.
