I currently work on the data and compliance team completing funding checks, uploading to the HUB, PDSAT checks, Functional skills additions, creating reports, AS assistance. I also answer compliance queries, update MI system with contacts, data inputting and day to day admin duties. Completing external ESFA audits and providing training to all staff members.
I have learnt lots of new skills including how to use different types of communication within my job role, how to be self-aware when dealing with conflict and time management. Being able to complete my tasks to a very good standard and being knowledgeable within all aspects of our company.
I do enjoy the programme i am currently completing as i get to learn new skills and knowledge for things i have never done before. The company is very professional and exceeds my expectations as they deliver a very good standard of practice. Its very informative and enjoyable when doing the monthly meetings.
The programme is very well organised. Every meeting has been done to an exceptional standard and very professional, all the tasks are covered and i understand what is being asked of us to complete. We also get one to one time with our assessor if needed which is great if falling behind and needing extra support
I received a lot of support from my employer. They encourage having time out each week to complete set tasks and will give help if needed. My manager will give any guidance if we have any problems and has a very good attitude in supporting me to completing my apprenticeship.
I get alot of support from the training provider when working towards my qualification, if i need any extra time to complete work as i havent been able to do it they are very reasonable and also ask if any help is needed to getting it completed. They make the time on programme very enjoyable
I feel this helps me perform better as i now have a better understanding of things i have never done before working in a team. I now know how to be self-aware when having conversations and being mindful of how certain things may come across when speaking to people. Also having better forms of communicating with my team.
I would say i dont get involved in many extra-curricular activities at work due to COVID. If we were to have some social activities i would definitely be able to join is as i think it is a good thing to have relationship with work colleagues outside of work as it shows you take an interest in them.
Yes
Realise Training have provided me with 3 apprenticeships since starting work in August 2012. Everyone of these have been very professional and i have completed them to a high standard. They are very caring towards you getting the qualification completed and give extra time to complete if you are falling behind but also give very good advice and knowledge.
My advice would be to definitely apply with Realise Training. They give a very professional approach to completing apprenticeships which leads to very good experience and opportunities within your work place. The application process is easy and simple and the recruitment team will help with any questions you have and get back within a quick time frame.
