At the time i was a Customer Consultant, meaning my duties included transacting on customers accounts, taking in queries on customer accounts and providing answers in a timely fashion. to do this i would use a number of different resources ranging from other branch staff to the colleague helplines provided.
I developed my Math and English skills which came as a real help to me, it also allowed me time to confirm my understanding around a few areas with my training assesor.
I found the way the programme was structured meant it was easy to blend with other things and really enjoyed myself!
I feel very valued at Lloyd's as although changes are slow they always take in to account the colleagues side of things
Very well, the only point i would say needds improvement is co-operation from line mangers
My Trainer assesor was definatley the best aspect to the course Phil Cather was my trainer and i am still chuffed to this day with the attentiveness he gave me and support
not as much as i feel there should have been. HR were great to get things started but as i have mentioned the atmosphere in the branch didn't help towards getting the course completed.
i had no costs...
The halfway house event was brilliant and im sure it will stick with me for years to come, asides from this there was not a great deal of other opportunities.
Yes
The career prospects are good and i find the path to succeed is made clear to you from day 1
Be honest and genuine at the face to face interview, this helps to ensure you are right for the job and don't get placed in an area that doesnt suit you
