My role is supporting a group of year 1 children who have an I.E.P which is under the SEN category and working towards the plan and giving them the same opportunities as their peers. Also working with a child who needs speech and language support and a exercise.
Yes working with children, adjusting teachers lesson accordingly to them to enable to get the best out of the children. Patience and positive reinforcement. I've also developed knowledge in handling my own lessons and indolence when it come to the children in my care and dealing with external agencies.
I've enjoyed it so much, I have been able to learn new skills and grow my knowledge and understanding of children and education.
Its organised very well, I know who my tutor is and how to contact her when I need her support. I know what I have to do and when it needs to be done by.
I recieve reasonable support to the best of their ability. Their understanding and support has helped make this easier.
Reasonable support, I am able to talk to my tutor and recieve feedback on what needs to be done and how to go about it.
I'm now more equipped to finish this qualification successfully and be able to work as a teaching assistant to the best of my ability.
Yes I work as a play worker doing breakfast and after school club as well and my teaching assitant role.

They give my a reliable tutor whose always there and the support you recieve from the manager when something is not completed is amazing and you know where you are with your apprenticeship. My tutor and realise have made the apprenticeship so much more fun and easier.
Always be on top of you work and try to get it done quickly. Also don't hesitate to message or call if you feel stuck or having issues as they are really supportive.
