  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think the organisation had good structure to the program, but was still trying new ways of completing the apprenticeship with different groups so the boundaries are always changing.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Our apprenticeship was highly focused on safety and quality. It is a different thing to read and understand what is expected of you in a classroom than to go out and put those practices in to a real world situation.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

  • 9a. Would you recommend BT Group to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I have and they got the job, also have another friend applying at the moment. The work is challenging the pay is satisfactory, the hours you work are paid and anything overtime is collected notes and either paid or owed back to you in time. You always learning.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT Group?
  • We work at height and with bugs and insects. Be comfortable with those two before applying. If you are the rest can be taught as long as your willing to put in the energy and commitment.
