I work on a variety of clients on their year end and interim audits.
I have developed communication, leadership, key audit skills and a variety of others.
I really enjoy my programme. Although there are stressful times, I am constantly learning and working with a large variety of people which is very interesting.
There is a very welll organised structure on my programme and I am always aware of when I have time to study and when I need to be working on client work. They are very flexible and I can work around deadlines to help with my workload.
I receive a good amount of support from my employer. They are very flexible in working around busy season at work and the exams set by the provider.
I receive lots of support from the provider in the means of support documents, live/recorded sessions, open forums, and open lines of communication between the tutors and myself.
I have a much better understanding of the audit accounts which allows me to perform better in my role. Without this knowledge, I think it would take me longer to learn/pick up the accounting concepts.
There are lots of social and wellbeing acitivites available at my work and I have been given the opportunity to take part in lots of things. I have utilised some of the opportunities provided to me already.
