I work in IGH Operations Transformation within Consulting. Many of the projects i work on assist organisations in improving their services and thinking of strategic ways for them achieve this. Day to day, i meet with the team and take on client feedback to produce quality outputs as a team
I have significantly improved on my communication skills as a result of working at KPMG. I have and will continue to build my accounting skills, having already completed level 3 AAT, i will work up to level 7 and beyond. I have grown in confidence and realise my potential to continue throughout my apprenticeship
I feel so grateful to work for such an amazing firm. I am able to work with amazing people everyday and learn from some of the top experts in the idustry. I enjoy working on the incredible clients we have and also gaining such valuable experiences at a young age is the best part of the job
The programme is very well organised. As an apprentice we are able to work and study at the same time and our exams and tuition are scheduled for the whole programme so we are aware of what's coming up which enables us to plan and meet all deadlines
There are endless offers of support at KPMG. One thing i have learned is that no matter what problem your facing, there is always someone/something in place to support you. It is so important to feel safe and supported by your employer and at KPMG, I certainly do
The support is endless. For example, during exam season, we have access to achievement ladder steps, recordings of lectures, scheduled live forums to ask tutors questions, question banks with practice assessments and much more. All of which undoubtedly enables you to be prepared for an exam. Everything is there, as long as you put the work in, you will succeed
Having completed the first stage of my qualification, I feel much more confident when approaching different tasks at work. The exams directly link towards the work you undertake and you can always see the benefit of completing the qualification almost immediately after as you are able to take on more responsibilities
There are countless events available to you within KPMG. There is literally something for everyone and our inclusive values ensure that we can all get involved in whatever we may want to. We also receive a volunteering allowance for the year which encourages all staff to support the communities we work in
Yes
You are surrounded by amazing people everyday and the experiences you are exposed to are incredible. You have the opportunity to work with some of the biggest clients and gain your quaification along the way. You are supported in everything you do and encouraged to be yourself everyday which is fantastic
First of all, be yourself! KPMG are such an inclusive firm and support people from any background so authenticity is key. Take your time and research into the firm when preparing for your interview and ask as many questions as possible. One thing i wish i knew earlier is that no question is a silly one!
