I was a telecoms engineer which involved working providing or restoring service to customers. Whether that was working outside in all whether conditions or inside customers houses. Every job was different you would turn up to which was good.
Customer service improved massively. Communication improved by taking to customers on a daily basis. Problem solving was a new skill i learnt as I would need to adapt to each individual job being different.
Very much I would recommend it to any one.
Very organised it was a clear path from start to finish of how the apprenticeship worked.
A lot being new to business and job role there was a lot of support.
For NVQ qualifications we would receive support once every 2 weeks.
It massively helps. You learn new skills along which has helped climb the ladder in career.
Yes there were plenty of activities I.e volunteering, Supporting schools with mock interviews. Charity run events where you could go to Kenya to build a school.
Yes
Fantastic opportunity to come in as an apprenticeship. There is a lot of support given to you earning good money with learning on the go as a 17 year old I couldn’t ask for more. There are plenty of other avenues you can go down which the apprenticeship opens the door for you
Be patient, be confident. Take your time, don’t rush and grab the opportunity with both hands
