I look after the foreign VAT reporting for all foreign subsidiaries for Regatta limited. I also get involved with the month end tasks looking after budgets and some stock aspects.
I have moved across three or four different teams to help develop my knowledge. I have worked in compliance, management accounts, trade payables and trade receivables.
This has been my first full time roll in a finance role and I have learnt a lot.
I receive time off each week to study and still have time to complete all of my work. I would say it has been well structured.
I have received a lot of support during my apprenticeship. There have just been some times where we have been too busy and short staffed to develop.
There has always been support, both during the time we spend in the centre and whenever needed also.
It has helped me develop knowledge and skills that I have transferred into the workplace and develop and understanding of the basics in accounting.
There are plenty of activities that we get involved in after work, e.g trips/company walks/football team.
