It differs depending on the team/rotation you are working on. For Audit engagements, you'll mostly be looking at the financial statements and then testing for errors etc. For Tax, you will be looking at client tax workings to ensure they have used the appropriate tax treatment.
Yes, you will develop alot of interpersonal skills and improve you accounting knowledge tenfold.

The exam/work balance is very well organised. BPP are great.

The exams really do help you understand your work tasks better and vise versa.
