I am a openreach engineer on a day to day basis I fix faults on phone lines , provide new phone lines to both residential and commercial customers . Test phone lines and provide normal and fibre broadband.
Yes I have learnt new skills as this type of job is completely new to me ,
It is very enjoyable as am loving learning the new skills .
Very well organised as we get time away from day to day work to work on the course work that accompanies the apprenticeship
We get good Suport we have patch leads and ppl the we have buddied with that also offer support
As much as we ask for as long as it does impact on business too much .
It helps me understand my role more
I am sure there is but in the current climate they haven’t been overly expressed.
