I've had a very positive experience so far with my apprenticeship. I have learnt countless new skills which have been put into practice. Learning on the job is an excellent way to start my career as it gives me real life working experiences.
The programme is well structured, I know the outline of the course and what to expect. I really enjoy the classes I take with my learning provider. It could be improved my providing examples of end point assessment case studies for inspiration for my own.
An excellent amount. My team and manager are excellent at providing me with a wide variety of learning opportunities outside the 'normal' day to day activities. Questions and further help is offered whenever I ask. I also receive support from Dixons from outside my team which was invaluable when I started my role.
Questions are answered and further guidance given whenever needed
My qualification gives me a better understanding of my role in the wider sense. It also provides context for why I perform certain tasks and how this helps other teams within the company.
We have computer team socials and social meetings with suppliers. It is however difficult considering covid restrictions.
Yes
I feel very supported and I think there is a lot of scope to grow my career within the company. I've been given an incredible amount of opportunities to learn and improve and I'm always provided with help when needed by all members of the team.
You get out as much as you put in. It's been a very hectic 6 months for me but I'm so glad I'm pushing myself as I'm getting a lot extra out of this apprenticeship than I thought I would.
