I work within a mobile and device space, ensuring to track the quality of experience of the devices within the Unilever estate. I work on adhoc projects, providing information and support where required. I provide analysis of device health and performance through the use of a tool I have become an SME with
I have increased my skills with excel, having minimal abilities initially I have been able to use it to interpret data on a deeper level. I have learned more effective collaboration through teams that are not all in one place. I have been able to work on my management skills, through personal management to organising teams
I enjoy the programme a lot, being able to learn in my day to day role, working in a massive global company, gaining experience from all areas and colleagues. The learning side provides great knowledge on the topics I work with and contextualises some of my day to day for a deeper understanding.
The programme s fairly well structured there was some initla delay in getting it started and to get things organised but once they were in place it picked up. There was in person sessions along with webinar sessions to provide knowledge based learning, and then coursework sessions with a coach to outline our day to day work.
I am very well supported, I have had personal issues that have required time off or a delay in providing work that has been more than accommodated by my employer. I am afforded time to learn and grow my skills and provided support for any areas I need growth in
I am very well supported by my employer for my qualification. If I have any issues personally or in work I am able to approach them and a resolve is found that suits all, if I have any issues with falling behind with work I am able to reorganise time that works for both of us
I think the qualification does help me perform better in my role as I am able to learn the reasoning and methodology behind why certain things are required, this greater level of context for my role allows me to fulfil my role in a more effective way, I am able to work towards a better end product.
There are certainly extra-carricular activities offered to those that are interested. It has been harder through covid but there are many sessions, such as quizzes and craftss available. There are team and company parties to take advantage of as well as team building exercises with games and recognition for work.
Yes
I love being able to work for a company that has allowed me to learn and grow so much already and am interested in my further growth. I am able to learn about myself and the company. It is nice working for a company with goals to ensure its products are provided for in the most environmentally conscious way
I would say that the best way is to be yourself, let your personality come through when applying, showing that you are passionate about something in your life and have desire to let that grow shows the kind of person you are. Be aware of the companies goals and aims and learn about their products helps your understanding of who Unilever are.
