    • My role is a sales apprentice, my day to day work consists of cold calling, emailing customers and attending remit/training sessions.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • I have learnt lots of communication skills when talking to customers and shadowing meetings. I have also learnt technical skills including producing PowerPoints and presentations, I have also learnt a great deal about the IT products Softcat sell.

    • I enjoy the programme as we have a lot of freedom to do our jobs the way we want but have enough support that we have guidance as well.

    • The programme is well structured and organised.

    • We receive lots of support from a range of people

    • Our training provider is always there to support us regardless of the time/day within reason.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • The technical aspects of the training helped from a technical standpoint in the role. The sales training also provided a lot of insight in how to maximise sales

    • There are but due to covid most was put on hold I believe.

    • Yes

  • 9b. Why?

    • It's so much quicker than getting a degree as you can apply for the graduate job after just over 1 year.
