My role is a sales apprentice, my day to day work consists of cold calling, emailing customers and attending remit/training sessions.
I have learnt lots of communication skills when talking to customers and shadowing meetings. I have also learnt technical skills including producing PowerPoints and presentations, I have also learnt a great deal about the IT products Softcat sell.
I enjoy the programme as we have a lot of freedom to do our jobs the way we want but have enough support that we have guidance as well.
The programme is well structured and organised.
We receive lots of support from a range of people
Our training provider is always there to support us regardless of the time/day within reason.
The technical aspects of the training helped from a technical standpoint in the role. The sales training also provided a lot of insight in how to maximise sales
There are but due to covid most was put on hold I believe.
Yes
It's so much quicker than getting a degree as you can apply for the graduate job after just over 1 year.
