Every day at Accenture is different. There is always something to learn and new experiences to partake in, so it hard to give a day-to-day schedule of a typical Accenture employee but what I can say for sure working at Accenture will allow you to experience all that IT has to offer.
I have learned a platter of IT-related, people, and other related skills that are benefitting me now and will benefit me in the future. I have also been able to develop my outstanding skills especially my people and team working skill because that is the type of company Accenture is, People-Centered.
I have been able to really enjoy the programme so far with every day bringing new experiences and new opportunities to develop my skills but also myself as a person. The core principles of Accenture also enable to enjoy the programme more as every employee is friendly and willing to work
The Accenture apprenticeship programme is well laid out and you can tell that it has been planned to perfection. The start of the program entails just preparing and readying the apprentices for the roles they will eventually end up in. It allows those who are unsure about what roles they would like to take to get support and receive advice before picking a role/sector they would like to go to.
The support from everyone at Accenture is incredible, to say the least. No matter what you need help with whether it be university, work, home, or external related matters there is always someone there to help and someone who you can reach out to. Accenture also regularly reaches out to the apprentices so we feel like we are left alone.
The amount of support an apprentice receives is inevitably left to the apprentice. Accenture is always on standby ready to give support to those who ask for it and have multiple employees that will reach out to apprentices regularly to check on how the apprentice is doing.
The qualification works hand in hand with roles we take as apprentices. The training provided is there to upskill, develop and get us ready for all aspects of our roles whether it be from testing all the way to development the training gives and insight to all the skills we will need.
Accenture provides a range of extracurricular that anyone can partake in. From activities such as a cooking club to a sports club for badminton players. Accenture also strives in making sure that everyone is included, meaning if there is a activity you would like to see you are able to in a request to start that activity.
Yes
The main reason I would recommend Accenture to a friend is the environment, Accenture puts its people at the center and when working for them you can really see the truth behind this. The workplace is a friendly environment where everyone works together to achieve a bigger picture all whilst enjoying their roles.
Try and get a head start in any way you can, this might mean you take a coding course on Java or you do some research on emerging technologies but giving yourself an early on advantage like this will allow you to make a greater choice on which path you want to take to achieve your goal.
