I'm currently a special needs assistant, helping and guiding children through their learning development.
Yes absolutely, I have been able to apply new skills in either continuous provision or on a one to one basis.
It's an enjoyable programme where I can apply my skills and new experiences at the workplace. Knowing I have support and guidance along the way.
Very well organised. There are units at each section of my programme and my assessor makes sure upcoming meetings are organised.
Lots of support. All of my colleagues are on hand to help me through each unit and will provide guidance and help towards evidence that is required.
Lots of support. My assessor is only a phone call away. Should I need any help at all I'm given plenty of guidance and support.
Very well. Every unit I have competed covers every aspect of my role at my workplace. Feels great to be able to apply the knowledge and skills I have learnt and can perform consistently.
Yes they are, we have team building days and social activities that take place.
Yes
They are very supportive the learning platform is easily accessible and all the staff are very friendly.
I would ensure they are in capable hands and reassure them that they will receive the support which is needed to achieve their apprenticeship.
