My role is to help support clients with renewals and cliams throughout the year. I shadow alot of people so I can learn my role and act more independently.
These past view months we have been taught; communication, team work and self-care. Marsh encourages and supports the development of more analytical/critical thinking.
Marsh makes sure everyone understands the importane of the role in the wider context. This results in higher satisfaction from completeing tasks in my experience.
Some confusion around the Cooridenation with Marsh and the apprenticeship provider but that resolved itself in its own time.
Such a good culture of supporting eachother here, there are countless people who support me. Including an assigned buddy, managers and people in my dept in general.
The course is more self taught, however, I do have monthly calls with my coach and before each exam they arrange a training day.
They are good for clearing up quieres and questions that arise from self teaching and are knowledgable about the insurance industry.
Yes there are lots of colleague support groups that organise such events. There are groups for; young professionals, womens equality, LGBT+, Race/ethnic minorities, disabled people and more. Allies of these groups can join as well, there is no criteria to join any.

Competative salary and other benefits, as well as an inclusive culture in such a dynamic industry makes for a well rounded experience.
Be keen and inquisitive. Always be nice and accepting to others - your network is your strenght; mutual respect is a fundamental component of that.
