Team Coach managing a team of 16 people. Coaching, people management, HR, Absence management etc Side tasks include apprenticeship, projects etc
I have learnt some new Questioning techniques and how to get my people setting their own goals
It is really interesting to learn a completely different way of coaching, learning the background and how the mind works.
This is where I feel let down. I don't feel that the organisation side of it has been very good at all to be honest and filled a lot of us with doubts very early on. I don't find the online coursework/work path easy to follow and feel we have just been thrown into it. We have had to ask for help several times and have asked for clarification a lot too.
It is our responsibility to book our own apprenticeship time in and organise our own learning. My Line manager is supportive and the other people i am on the course with are supportive too. However, I don't feel there is a lot my employer can do as the learning comes from BPP
Not an awful lot. Every webinar I have attended (once all of the IT issues were sorted) has been great. But in the initial stages it was very bitty, unorganised and we didn't really know what was going on. We were having to chase up a lot of things and its still pretty jumbled to be honest. Louise has been great at booking catch ups once every 4-6 weeks however, I really feel that a weekly/bi-weekly check in is needed in order to keep us on an even keel and stop us form feeling so lost.
I do think once the qualification is done it will really benefit me and my team. There are so many scenarios that can be applied to how they work too. So its not just coaching you learn, there are so many of the skills that you can pass on to your team too.
Not so much due to COVID.
Yes
The people I work with are amazing and the support we all give each other is something I haven't had in previous work places.
I'm not sure how this is relevant to my Apprenticeship feedback?
