Working in an MSK interface service and also working in a first contact clinical in primary care, it involves assessing and managing patients with Musculoskeletal problems, documenting, requesting investigations and acting on these as appropriate. Managing patients with complex presentations
I have learnt how to more appropriately order investigations, basic blood interpretation, what services there are at the trust.
I really enjoy the programme, its interesting and I have much more breath in my practice
I think its really well organised, the support staff help to make it so
My employer is very supportive
The staff at MMU are very supportive, I cannot fault them
I feel there is a mis match between my qualification and my job role as a Musculoskeletal practitioner. I feel the course better equipts you for areas like A&E however, it does provide options for me to change my area of work once qualified
No but it has been covid so this isikely to have had an impact
