Currently in a placement in Private Client tax where i am talking to clients and completing tax returns for clients. I have worked in audit for a year making workpapers and have been given a lot of responsibilities for both these placements.
There are lots of internal training courses available which I have been able to utilise, I am also completing AAT Level 4.
I enjoy the programme but there is a lot of stress and I do not feel that the apprenticeship team support as much as they could. But the placements I have been in the teams are kind and I love the variety of work.
I have found that this year has not been very structured and there has been very little support with all the pressures of the past year.
I find that the Managers I work with in the teams I have had placements in are always very supportive but the apprenticeship team I have found to give very little support.
I get lots of support when behind on where I need to be on the apprenticeship and are always there if I need support with something.
I feel that if gives me a more indepth understanding of the tasks that I complete from doing the exams that relate to the tasks.
Due to covid there has not been much available.
Yes
Because it is a good place to gain skills and I have learnt a lot whilst working here.
Ensure this is the job you want and you can handle the pressure of it first. For the interview remember to be you.
