I am PMO Lead for a payroll programme, managing the governance, scheduling and maintaining standards across the programme. Also an implementation manager, responsible for the implementation of small improvement projects on a HR and Payroll platform and managing issues.
Yes, I have learnt more about risk management. Also been more able to develop my team work and leadership.
I quite enjoy my programme, especially the individuals. I found that the length of time is a bit long.
I think it was very well structured, although it would have benefited from being a little shorter. We had a lot of support at the beginning but a little less at the end.
A lot from my manager, not much from other colleagues. I found my colleagues tended to forget this commitment so I had to reinforce it.
A fair amount, we got a reasonable amount of interaction in the classroom but not a great deal over e-mail unless a deadline was coming up.
I feel like the qualification has greatly helped me to understand the role I do, and improved my quality of work. My confidence has also grown which I believe shows.
There are occasional activities but a lot of support networks and events which will benefit staff in different business areas.
Yes
There are a great deal of development activities and support for staff with different requirements and needs. There is essentially a role for everyone.
Be honest on your application, don't be worried and just go for it. On the whole it's an accepting place, and once you're in it's easier to move around to find the role that suits you best.
